QRD SPARK N5 Macro Back Paddles Setup Guide
The QRD SPARK N5 includes rear macro buttons N1 and N2. These back paddles can be used to assign a single button input or record a short sequence of button inputs for faster access during gameplay.
This guide explains how to set, save, clear, and troubleshoot Macro functions on the QRD SPARK N5.
Supported Macro Modes
QRD SPARK N5 supports two Macro types:

Important: Macro recording supports single taps in sequence only. Holding one button while pressing other buttons is not supported.

How to Set a Macro
- Press and hold SET + N1 or SET + N2 until the LED starts blinking.
- Press each button once in the order you want to record.
- Press the same back button again, or press SET, to save the Macro.
Example:
- 👉 SET + N1 -> Square -> X -> Triangle -> N1
This records the sequence to N1.
How to Clear a Macro
To clear the Macro assigned to one back button:
- 👉 Hold SET + N1 or SET + N2 for approximately 3 seconds
When the LED flashes and then turns off, the Macro has been cleared.
Important Macro Notes
- Macro settings remain after shutdown because they are stored in onboard memory.
- Macro recording supports sequential button taps only.
- Macro does not support held-button combination recording.
- HOME / Q, OPTIONS, SHARE, and L3/R3 combo mappings are not recommended or supported for Macro recording.
- Use firmware V3.0.1 or later for full Macro feature support.
