Overview

Firmware Version V1.58 introduces important improvements to the QRD FERROX M5 power-management system, enhancing user awareness during extended gameplay sessions and preventing unexpected shutdowns due to low battery.

This update is highly recommended for all users to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

 

■ New Feature: Low Battery Warning Indicator

V1.58 adds a dedicated Low Battery Warning System designed to notify players when the controller’s battery level becomes critically low.

How It Works

• When the battery level drops below 10%, the controller will automatically activate the low-power alert.

• At this battery level, the controller typically remains usable for approximately 20–40 minutes, depending on gameplay load, vibration usage, and LED settings.

• The Q-button LED will begin flashing red, indicating that the controller requires charging soon.

Recommended Action

When the red indicator appears, connect the QRD FERROX M5 to a power source using a USB-C cable to ensure continuous operation and prevent disconnection during gameplay.
