QRD SPARK N5 Turbo Function Adjustment and Clearing Guide
The QRD SPARK N5 supports Turbo function adjustment for supported buttons. Turbo can help repeat button inputs at different speeds, and users can switch between semi-auto mode, full-auto mode, and clearing Turbo for a selected button.
This guide explains how to adjust Turbo speed, enable Turbo mode, clear Turbo from one button, and clear Turbo from all buttons.
Turbo Speed Adjustment
The QRD SPARK N5 provides three Turbo speed levels:
| Speed Level | Turbo Speed |
|---|---|
| Level 1 | 8 times/sec |
| Level 2 | 15 times/sec |
| Level 3 | 25 times/sec |
How to Adjust Turbo Speed
- Hold down the TURBO button.
- Push the right joystick up to the maximum position to increase Turbo speed.
- Push the right joystick down to the maximum position to decrease Turbo speed.
- The indicator light flashes 3 times at 4Hz after each speed adjustment.
Important Turbo Speed Notes
- Turbo has three speed options: 8 times/sec, 15 times/sec, and 25 times/sec.
- Turbo speed settings are not saved after shutdown.
- After the controller is powered off, you may need to adjust Turbo speed again.
- Macro keys do not support Turbo speed adjustment.
- Macro keys loop recorded macros at the recorded speed.
Turbo Mode Functions
To set Turbo for a button:
- 👉 Hold the target button + press TURBO
Each time you repeat this operation, the button cycles through three modes:
| Operation Count | Mode |
|---|---|
| First time | Semi-auto Turbo mode |
| Second time | Full-auto Turbo mode |
| Third time | Clear Turbo for that button |
Semi-Auto Turbo Mode
In semi-auto Turbo mode, the button repeats input while you hold the button.
This mode is useful when you want repeated input but still want manual control over when it starts and stops.
Full-Auto Turbo Mode
In full-auto Turbo mode, the button can continue repeating automatically after activation, depending on the supported function behavior.
Use this mode when you want continuous repeated input without holding the button manually.
Clear Turbo for One Button
To clear Turbo from one assigned button:
- Hold the button that already has Turbo assigned.
- Press TURBO repeatedly until the function cycles to the third mode.
- On the third operation, Turbo is cleared from that button.
In short:
- 👉 Target button + TURBO
Cycle order:
- 👉 Semi-auto Turbo -> Full-auto Turbo -> Clear Turbo
Clear Turbo for All Buttons
To clear Turbo settings from all buttons:
- 👉 Hold TURBO + SHARE for more than 3 seconds
When the clearing command is recognized, the channel light flashes slowly at 2Hz.
This clears Turbo assignments from all supported buttons.
Macro Key Compatibility
Macro keys can support Turbo semi-auto mode and full-auto mode.
However, Macro keys do not support Turbo speed adjustment. If a Macro key is used with Turbo behavior, it will loop the recorded macro at the recorded macro speed.
Troubleshooting
Turbo Speed Does Not Change
Check the following:
- Make sure you are holding the TURBO button while moving the right joystick.
- Push the right joystick fully upward or fully downward.
- Confirm that the indicator light flashes 3 times after adjustment.
- Remember that Macro keys do not support Turbo speed adjustment.
Turbo Stops After Restarting the Controller
This is normal. Turbo settings are not saved after shutdown.
After powering on the controller again, set the Turbo function and speed again if needed.
Turbo Cannot Be Cleared From One Button
Repeat the target button plus TURBO operation until it cycles through:
- 👉 Semi-auto -> Full-auto -> Clear
If the setting remains abnormal, clear all Turbo settings with:
- 👉 TURBO + SHARE for more than 3 seconds
