I’ve actively sought out and played fighting games for the last three decades. During that time, I've found that playing on an arcade stick always punches the experience up. But this isn’t a review of an arcade stick, this is a review of QRD’s Maestro S3: a leverless controller. This type of controller bridges the gap between the stick and the gamepad, and to my great interest, has been taking the fighting game world by storm. After spending a week with the Maestro S3, I now understand why.

The wireless arcade stick is a nice product for any gaming enthusiast. It's compatible with pretty much any console and PC and offers unparalleled versatility. The touchpad and handy phone holder are excellent additions, that makes it easy to navigate and keep your phone in a visible spot during intense gaming sessions. The 3,5mm audio jack provides an easy way to connect headphones, which ensures immersive gameplay. The five latency modes and EZ mode enhance performance and deliver responsive and customizable controls that cater to both casual and competitive players. The build quality is great, with a sturdy design that feels comfortable to my hands. Setup is pretty easy and the wireless connectivity works flawlessly without any lag. The product comes well packaged for transport in a nice looking carton box, which protects it perfectly. Great device for gamers!

My adult son loves this thing. I enjoy it as well. It brings back the feel of being in an arcade, like the old days. Works very well with all consoles we've tried it with.

Sturdy construction and good feel

I am impressed by this arcade controller, which uses a hit box design. The buttons feel incredibly responsive with a short travel. There is good feedback from the buttons on actuation. The controller is wired or wireless, which is great for switching between casual convenience or lower latency competitive play. I am still learning my hit box key combos, and this controller supports a variety of modes. This works on all of my consoles and my PC, but the PS5 requires the playing of PS4 versions of a game. This is the same for using any PS4 controller, which I think is more on Sony than this stick. I have heard this will work with a converter. This is an incredibly high quality controller that is great for training while not breaking the bank.

プロシーン向け（左右の後押し優先設定不可）

静音のボタン、天板のマットな材質、HITBOXとおなじボタン配置など、なかなかプロシーン向けなアイテムだと思います。
PS5に簡単に無線で接続できるのも良い。
天板がナナメであり、膝の上に置くならともかく平らなテーブルの上では接地面が安定しない（手の置き方次第）なところがちょっと気になるけど。

ただカジュアルに使いたい人からすると、コントローラー上下左右の設定にて、後押しボタン優先ができないです。後押し優先はストリートファイター公式でNGになったシステム設定ですが、カジュアルに他のゲームで使いたい人にとっては鬼門。
カジュアル向けのEZモードなるものもありますが、素人の私には操作感の違いは感じられませんでした。

あくまでもプロシーン向け、としての商品ですね。
